This bleached-white hotel reopened in December 2007 after "modernizing and upscaling", and fans hope that all that restoration will make the "Grande truly that"; rooms have "very comfortable down bedding" and some "overlook the beautiful marina", where "the grandest yachts berth"; on-site is a water taxi stop, handy for getting to the beach and the "shops and restaurants on Las Olas Boulevard"; less sunny are the "limited dining options" and the "pricey parking" fee.

The bed and shower were wonderful. Very comfortable.

The hotel incorrectly charged my CC and did not fix the problem.

This is a very nice hotel, but make sure you go over the receipt before you check out. The accounting dept was very unhelpful.

The parking deck was attached to the hotel in an odd way.

A well-appointed, clean, quiet hotel overlooking a marina and river.

Pricey parking, not too close to restaurants & shops.

I got an excellent Priceline rate. On arrival, I was upgraded to a Tower Room with a terrific view of the marine (not the cruise port and highway). The room was spacious, clean, and had a good-sized balcony. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.
